In her second book project, Dr. Salseda captures the importance of art to the formation of cultural pride, inclusive and community-centered educational practices, cross-racial coalition, and social justice campaigns, arguing that the dynamic history of art and activism at Stanford University reflected a national movement that diversified universities and their curricula and pressured institutions of higher learning to rupture and advance limited conceptions of humanity.
